When Prof Askari took over the responsibilities of Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa during the year 1985, this Madrasa was recognized by the State Government up to Wastania Standard (Up to 8 th Class only).

In the absence of any official records in the office of the Madrasa, Prof Askari was practically puzzled . He desperately searched for the misplaced records. To his great surprise he saw some papers thrown in one of the rooms, which was full of dust and cobwebs. This room was adjacent to the Imambara of Razi sahib Marhoom. He secured all those records and personally went through them. To his great surprise he got some letters of State Government stating the fact that this Madrasa was actually recognized up to Maulvee Standard even during the 1936 (Up to Intermediate Standard). With the help of these letters Prof. Askari took the issue of restoration Maulwee Standard with the State Government. He even represented the case of Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa in Prime-Minister's secretariat. The copy of letter from Prime-Minister's secretariat can be seen below:

After a long fight Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa got justice and its standard was restored to Maulvee Standard.Due to continuous persuation of Prof Askari, this Madrasa was up-graded to Fazil Standard (Post Graduate Standard).This was a big achievement for Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa and its students.

INVITATION TO THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA TO VISIT MADRASA ISLAMIA KUJHWA

After successfully in inviting the Chief Minister of Bihar, the Governor of Bihar and the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa, Prof Sami Askari tried his best to invite H.E A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM, the President of India to visit Madrasa Islamia kujhwa. Some of the letters below shows the efforts of Prof Askari for inviting the President of India to visit Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa.

His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam came to Patna for the distribution of Khuda Bakhsh Khan Awards at Rajbhawan Patna. Being Secretary of a Charitable institution Professor Sami Askari had the privilege of meeting the President. Professor Askari handed to his Press Secretary a letter requesting His Excellency the President of India to visit Madrasa Islamia Kujhwa, one of the aims of which is to inculcate sense of human brotherhood and enlightened patriotism among its students.
